1. Services Offered

Brooklin Barkhouse provides dog walking, off-leash backyard play, overnight stays, transportation to groomers, and puppy check-ins. Full list of All services and Pricing can be on our booking page. Services can be booked through our website using and booking system.

2. Payments, Cancellation & No-Show Policy

 We accept Visa and Mastercard through trusted third-party payment processors including Stripe and PayPal.

Cancellations with 48+ hours' notice: No charge

Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice: 50% of the fee will be charged

No-shows at time of walk or drop-off: Full fee charged

Late pick-up: $10 fee for every 30 minutes past scheduled pick up time.

Brooklin Barkhouse may cancel or reschedule services due to extreme weather, emergencies, or other safety concerns at our discretion. A refund or credit will be offered in such cases.

3. Dangerous Dog Clause

Client warrants their pet is not classified as “dangerous” under the Dog Owners' Liability Act and is not subject to any Dangerous Dog Orders. Brooklin Barkhouse reserves the right to suspend or terminate services immediately if a pet poses a safety risk.

4. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client or pet for safety reasons or any other reason at our sole discretion.

5. Weather Policy

Outdoor services may be paused or cancelled during extreme weather conditions (e.g., storms, high heat, extreme cold). Safety is always our priority. Refunds are provided in accordance to clause 2.

6. Vaccination & Health Requirements

All dogs must be in good general health and up to date on vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Proof of vaccination may be required.

7. Emergency Veterinary Care Authorization

In the event of illness or injury where the client cannot be reached, Brooklin Barkhouse is authorized to seek immediate veterinary care. The client agrees to cover any veterinary expenses incurred.

8. Subcontractors & Personnel

Services may be performed by trained employees, contractors, or subcontractors acting on behalf of Brooklin Barkhouse. All staff are carefully selected and expected to follow company policies.

9. Communications Consent

By using our services or submitting your information, you consent to receive email, text, and phone communications from Brooklin Barkhouse regarding bookings, reminders, and service updates.

10. Photo & Video Release

Unless otherwise stated in writing, clients agree that Brooklin Barkhouse may take and share photos or videos of their pet(s) for promotional purposes, including on our website and social media channels.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Brooklin Barkhouse and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to third-party services such as payment processors, scheduling platforms, and messaging services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites.

13. Limitation of Liability

Clients acknowledge there are inherent risks in pet care, including but not limited to injury, illness, escape, or property damage. Clients remain financially responsible for any injury or damage caused by their pet(s).

Brooklin Barkhouse, its owners, employees, contractors, and subcontractors shall not be held liable for loss, injury, or death of pet(s), or for damage to property, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brooklin Barkhouse from any claims resulting from their pet(s)' actions.

14. Modifications to Terms

Brooklin Barkhouse reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
